Sunday Night (04/04)

Synopsis: “Domingo à Noite” tells the story of Margot (Marieta Severo), married for more than 50 years to Antônio (Zé Carlos Machado), a renowned writer who deals with Alzheimer's disease.

While trying to preserve the couple's independence and take care of her husband alone, Margot faces challenges in completing her last film and keeping the flame of love alive in the face of Antônio's deteriorating memory.

A Happy Family (04/04)

Synopsis: This film tells the story of a family apparently without any major problems. Eva (Grazi Massafera) has just given birth to her third child, but finds herself tormented by the anguish of postpartum depression in the midst of a bourgeois life.

The tranquility of their happy home is shattered by disturbing events when their twin daughters are injured, and Eva becomes the prime suspect for hurting the children.

The Night Matter (04/04)

Synopsis: Jaiane seeks to make sense of her work and family relationships, while Aíssa, a merchant sailor, is forced to remain docked in Vitória for a few days.

The meeting between them represents a chance to build something solid or delve even deeper into the sadness they carry.

Until Nightfall (04/04)

Synopsis: To gain the trust of a drug dealer, investigator Robert needs to pretend to be Leni's (Thea Ehre) boyfriend.

The police hope that their ties to the criminal will help them infiltrate the gang. While this part of the plan works relatively well, the fake relationship is difficult from the start. Leni is a trans woman and Robert was in love with her before transitioning.

Ironically, it is Victor, the drug dealer, who will make Robert confront the dilemmas of his feelings. Ehre received the Best Supporting Performance award at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival for his role in the film.

After Death (04/11)

Synopsis: “After Death” is an intriguing film that explores what happens after death, based on real near-death experiences reported by scientists, authors and survivors.

Cinema is a Hard Drug (11/04)

Synopsis: Simon, an experienced director, begins production on a film about the workers' battle to save their factory, but faces a series of setbacks.

His production company wants to rewrite the ending, his team goes on strike, his personal life is in ruins and, to complicate matters further, the main actor is Joseph, an unpleasant and self-centered young man who wants to enter the film industry.

Faced with these challenges, Joseph agrees to direct the making of the film and documents the whole mess, revealing that sometimes the making of can be more interesting than the film itself!

Evidence of Love (11/04)

Synopsis: After being left at the altar by Laura, Marco Antonio, who always considered himself a perfect groom, discovers that he travels in time whenever he hears the couple's favorite song, “Evidências”.

In these moments, he revisits situations in which he realizes that perhaps he was not as perfect as he imagined, leading him to reflect on his mistakes and rediscover the true meaning of love and forgiveness.

20,000 Species of Bees (11/04)

Synopsis: One summer in the Basque Country, an eight-year-old child deals with the discomfort of being treated in confusing ways by the people around him.

Among hives and bees, she explores her femininity alongside the women in her family, who also reflect on their own lives and desires.

Sofía Otero was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Leading Actress at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival for her performance in this film.

The Lines of My Hand (11/04)

Synopsis: In a series of unpredictable encounters, an actress shares her journey between art and madness.

Divided into seven acts, the film not only portrays the life of this woman, but also explores the infinite possibilities of this portrait, providing a reflection on the nature of art and the human mind.

The Taste of Life (11/04)

Synopsis: In 1885, the incomparable cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) has worked for the famous gourmet Dodin (Benoît Magimel) for two decades.

Over the years, the practice of gastronomy and mutual admiration blossomed into a loving relationship.

Their culinary partnership results in delicious dishes that confuse even the most renowned chefs in the world.

However, Eugenie cherishes her freedom and never wanted to marry Dodin. Determined to win her over in a new way, Dodin decides to do something he's never tried before: cook for her.

This film was selected for the official competition at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Pearl Jam: Dark Matter (04/16)

Synopsis: In a unique worldwide theatrical experience, Pearl Jam fans will have the exclusive opportunity to hear the band's new album, Dark Matter, before anyone else.

Turn it up, it's Rock n' Roll (04/25)

Synopsis: In the effervescent year of 1982, while Brazil was breathing the air of redemocratization, Luiz Antonio, a journalist dissatisfied with the conservatism of radio stations, and his friend Samuca decide to bet everything on a dream.

Defying all standards, they created Fluminense FM, which became known as “A Maldita”, the first station entirely dedicated to rock.

With innovative strategies, such as exclusively female voiceovers and authentic and democratic programming, the first Brazilian radio dedicated to rock launches giants such as Blitz, Paralamas do Sucesso, Titãs, Legião Urbana, Barão Vermelho, among others.

The story follows the group of friends who founded the radio, driven by passion and the desire to transform the world.
