Oppenheimer and Succession lead the night with the most statuettes.

On the night of this Sunday, January 7th, the award ceremony for the Golden Globe 2024. The first after a complete overhaul of the organizers.

Everyone expected a memorable night, however, what we saw was a tepid performance, without much excitement from the celebrants.

Therefore, Joy Koy, the party's host, started the show with a series of jokes, which were somewhat dull.

So, if it was just Joy Koy who left the party lukewarm, I could give a discount, but, it was presenter after presenter.

The characters announced the winners of the categories, but statements were made before the announcement and in a very uncomfortable way.

However, speeches like that of Robert Downey Jr., who won one of the statuettes and the script for Anatomy of One Fall that beat his competitors Barbie and Oppenheimer, helped to make the atmosphere a little more distracted.

However, it is worth mentioning that Oppenheimer was the leader among the film categories, with 5 awards, including Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Actor (Cillian Murphy) and Drama Film.

Barbie, however, was at odds with Oppenheimer. The best-known doll in the world was snubbed more than one might expect, taking only Best Song and the new Golden Globe category, Cinematographic and Box Office Achievement.

Furthermore, Poor Creatures won best comedy film, which earned a statuette for Emma Stone for her performance.

Anyway, Succession, leader of nominations, was not surprising when it won several statuettes for its last season. However, the HBO series began his hegemony on the night, winning best supporting actor with Matthew Macfadyen.

Thus, after him, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook also won the award for which they were competing, and to crown the night, he took the award for Best Drama Series.
